About Madrid Airport
Madrid is the main departure point for many of Spain's long-haul flights, making Barajas one of Europe's busiest airports. The city combines its role as a major business hub – home to AZCA and the Cuatro Torres business district – with a historic centre that's easy to explore on foot, from El Retiro Park to Malasaña. This mix of tourism, business travel and international connections creates demand for a wide range of foreign currencies, whether you're travelling to Latin America and need pesos or soles, or flying to London or New York for work.
Why Reserve Your Currency Before Travelling to Barajas?
Reserving your travel money online guarantees your exchange rate on the day you place your order and ensures the currency you need will be available, avoiding any last-minute surprises at the airport. And if you don't spend all your currency while you're away, our BuyBack Guarantee allows you to sell back any unused currency at the same rate you originally purchased it.
